April 9th 2017 – North Pole Marathon – FINISHED 7h:59m:58s!!

The North Pole Marathon is run over the classic 42.195km (26.2 miles) marathon distance completely on the frozen water of the Arctic Ocean.  The race encompasses an individual competition, with male and female divisions. This marathon is the most Northern race on the planet and has been completed by approximately only 400 people in the 13 years that it has been run. Dubbed the “World’s Coolest Marathon” by Runners World Magazine.

The Big Five Marathon in South Africa is held among the wildlife of the African savannah. Runners from all over the world will meet in one of the most spectacular “Big Five” game reserves in Africa.

In these magnificent surroundings, we combine exciting game drives with a challenging marathon route going right through the habitat of the most famous African game: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard.

November 12th 2016 – Volcano Marathon – Atacama Desert Chile – FINISHED 7h:04m:17s!!

Competitors in the race will assemble at San Pedro de Atacama in the heart of the Atacama Desert, the driest desert in the world.

The marathon will begin near the Tropic of Capricorn adjacent to Lascar Volcano, one of the most active
volcanoes in Northern Chile.

At a start altitude of 4,475 metres (14,682 feet), the impact of thinner air will be felt by competitors, but there is another certainty: the spectacular, panoramic views of up to 10 volcanoes will leave them breathless.

Feb 22, 2015 – Tokyo Marathon – FINISHED 3h:58m:49s!!

Around 36,000 runners run through the busy streets of Metropolitan Tokyo that are shut down to traffic.

At first to hold a Tokyo Marathon seemed like an unrealizable dream. But it became a reality in 2007 and as years pass, this city marathon became a race filled with many dreams.

It is not just the 36,000 chosen runners but the 10,000 volunteers,
over 1,720,000 crowds cheering, numerous supporting sponsors and many others that come together as one to make it happen.

Tokyo Marathon unites people and makes a great contribution to provide a dream to our society.

July 25, 2015 – Australian Outback Marathon, Ayers Rock/Uluru – CANCELLED DUE TO AIRCRAFT ISSUES

Although this race is popular with local runners, for most, it’s a once in a lifetime experience. It’s not every day marathoners get to take in the stunning views of Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) as the kilometres tick by.

Enjoyed by both professional runners, club runners, casual runners  and beginners, there are events for all running levels including the full marathon, half marathon, 11km and 6km fun runs. In addition to its beauty, the course is relatively flat, with only a couple inclines and sand dunes. Most of the course is on unsealed roads, bush tracks and soft-sand trails, with a few small sand dunes and plenty of Australia’s famed “Red Earth” thrown in for good measure.
